What it is about

Book Trolley is a cozy, solo, journaling, bibliomancy game with a small mystery at its core, who’s defacing the books in our library? Someone is going into these books, highlighting certain phrases and returning the books to the trolley as if nothing ever happened. Are they trying to send you a message? You play as a librarian trying to figure out the culprit and what it is they’re trying to tell you. You will be rolling the full polyhedral array to get your Clues and journaling prompts off of your book trolley. How to Play: Collect a d20, d12, d100 (2 d10), d8, d6, and d4 in your hand, shake them up and roll them. Each die represents a specific number you’ll need to find a Clue. Search through the book and use the dice to pull a series of words, jot them down, repeat until you’re done. Once you’ve got all your Clues, interpret those Clues and write a journal entry of what you think the patron is trying to say with these highlighted words. Consult the list of suspects and then continue to repeat the process until you’re sure you’ve got the culprit. Then decide whether you’re going to pull their library card or not. What You Need to Play: This book. A full polyhedral array of dice. A shelf of at least 20 books. Something to write in. Something to write with. A sense of whimsy.
