What it is about

Hidden Action is a solo and cooperative tabletop game inspired by the tension and tactics of modern extraction shooter video games. You'll be navigating an authentic, real-world Canadian landscape during this scenario. Winter has tightened its grip around Bear Lake. Amidst the dense pine forests and the dark, winding river that cuts through the local infrastructure, something unnatural has stirred. A bear, woken early from its winter torpor, is ravaging the nearby settlement, prompting a heavy bounty for its head and proof of the kill. You are up to the task, but the frozen woods are crawling with competition. Rival hunters are traversing the landscape with the exact same goal. If you aren't careful, the Hidden Action engine's dynamic adversaries will turn the snowy roads into a deadly, PvP-style game of cat and mouse where you are just as likely to become prey. This one-shot scenario is based on Hidden Action 1.1. It utilizes the curated item list from the Red Case scenario – a specific subset that includes a few unique additions. However, you are welcome to use the complete item list from the core game for this adventure.
