What it is about
A one-night solo journaling game. You play alone, in one sitting, with a pen and one six-sided die. You took a house-sitting job for someone called R. You've never met. The house is the last one on Maple Court, and R. left a note in every room, plus a form to fill out so they have your info. The notes are sweet and helpful and they know things about you nobody should. R. is supposed to be out of town, but every time you leave R. a note there's a reply waiting in the next room. It's a yandere game. R. is in love with you and gets jealous of anyone else in your life, and the people who get in the way stop showing up. It gets creepier as the night goes on, and anything violent happens off the page. HOW IT PLAYS You go room by room from 7 pm to 7 am. In each room you read R.'s note, decide whether to do what it says or snoop around, roll on that room's table, do the room's activity and write in your journal. Every room is different. You fill out R.'s house-sitter form, find your own week on R.'s fridge calendar, roll for what's on R.'s TV, draw on R.'s shelf of things you lost, and hold the bathroom page up to a real mirror to read what R. wrote on the glass. How many times you behaved or snooped decides which of the 3 endings you get. There's also a sealed photo you cut out at the start and only open if your ending says so. You can play as yourself or make someone up. Playing as yourself is creepier, since R.'s notes use your real answers from the form. Takes about 60 to 90 minutes. INCLUDED 35-page printable game. English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese (Brazil), each one the full game. US Letter and A4 for every language. An ink-friendly English version with white pages and line drawings. 3 endings and a sealed photo cut-out. Notes to R. cut-outs, a tracker, a journal page and dice cards. WHAT YOU NEED A six-sided die (or the cut-out dice cards), a pen, scissors and a little tape. CONTENT Stalking, being watched, obsessive love, a person who won't let go, and harm to other people that happens off the page. No gore and no sexual content. AI DISCLOSURE The paintings (cover and room pictures) were made with AI. AI tools helped translate and lay out the book.
