What it is about
In the shadows beneath our feet lies a world unknown, where ancient mysteries stir and forgotten civilizations dwell. Subterranean Discoveries invites you to embark on a solo journey of discovery into the depths of the underground realm. In this solo journaling game, you assume the role of an intrepid archaeologist or anthropologist who has stumbled upon a remarkable revelation: a race of subterranean humanoids hidden from the surface world. Armed with nothing but your wits and a standard deck of playing cards, you will venture into the darkness, seeking to unravel the secrets of this hidden society. Draw upon the cards to guide your path and interpret the signs and omens encountered along the way. Hearts may signal moments of peace and understanding, while diamonds reveal the indifferent gaze of the underground dwellers. Clubs foretell of conflict and danger lurking in the shadows, while spades unveil the mysteries and revelations that lie hidden within the abyss. Record your observations and decisions in your journal as you interact with the subterranean humanoids, forging alliances, navigating treacherous encounters, and uncovering the truth about their society. Will you uncover the secrets of the underground realm, or will you become ensnared in its depths?
