The Human Is Alive

You are not of this Earth. As an extraterrestrial observer, you have abducted a human subject for study—intent on uncovering their secrets. But something has gone wrong. The human, unexpectedly conscious, now presents you with an enigma you weren’t prepared for. What happens when the specimen wakes up? This solo journaling experience places you in the role of an advanced alien species, grappling with the unpredictability of human behavior. Using a deck of playing cards, you will explore the human’s emotional states, actions, and reactions to their terrifying predicament. Each card drawn reveals a new aspect of the human's psyche and prompts you to record your alien’s thoughts, strategies, and evolving decisions. Observe from a distance or intervene directly. Will your curiosity evolve into empathy, or will the human’s unpredictability lead to a darker outcome? As the experiment unfolds, your alien must ultimately make a critical decision: release the human, terminate the experiment, or continue pushing the boundaries of discovery. The Human Is Alive invites you to explore the clash of species, emotions, and logic in a gripping narrative that evolves with every draw of the cards. What will you learn about humanity—and what will you learn about yourself? Explore. Observe. Decide. Humanity's fate is in your hands.
