What it is about

In the vast expanse between the heavens and the abyss, an ancient contest rages—a contest as old as time itself. The stakes are the souls of humanity, the pawns in a cosmic game between the two greatest forces ever known: God and The Devil. Their battleground is not one of swords and shields, but of hearts and minds, where every decision, every word, and every emotion tips the balance between salvation and damnation. Eternal Struggle is a two-player storytelling game where you and a partner will embody these titanic forces, weaving tales of hope and despair, love and betrayal, virtue and vice. With a full deck of Tarot cards as your guide, you will craft intricate narratives, using the symbolism and power of each card to influence the mortal world and determine the fate of the souls within it. Each round, you will draw from the Fate Deck, revealing the challenges and themes that will shape your story. As God, you will nurture and uplift, guiding the lost towards redemption and enlightenment. As The Devil, you will tempt and corrupt, leading them astray into darkness and ruin. Your cards will not only dictate the events that unfold but also the emotional and spiritual journeys of the characters you create. But this is not a game of mere card play—it is a battle of wills, where the true victory lies in the story you tell. You and your opponent will argue, deliberate, and ultimately decide which force has won the soul in question. It is a game of moral and narrative complexity, where every word you speak carries weight, and where the outcome is determined not by chance, but by the power of your imagination and persuasion. Will you be the force of light that saves humanity from its darkest impulses, or will you be the cunning tempter who drags them into the depths of despair?
