REPO MORNING solo you have lost control of your body. the outside world means nothing to your addled mind. to come back, you must start from within. put down your devices. shut your eyes. close your hands into fists. feel the warmth in your palms. that is your own doing. you still have power here. feel your legs. note the texture of them. your legs feel your hands back. you have presence here. open your eyes. stare at the ceiling. slowly rise upright, keeping your eyes forward. the world can reach you if you rise to meet it. get up.
