HOW TO PLAY: Grab a D20 and the cards Choose a meister or weapon to play with Place all other cards into a single pile (Shuffle Kishin Asura into the bottom 15 cards of the deck) Every meister and weapon has two abilities to use at the cost of souls Every card has a soul worth that you earn if you defeat it The number in Death's skull is the damage you add to your D20 roll Draw a card from the pile to battle When attacking, you choose whether to use a general attack roll or spend souls on a skill Upon finding your partner, instead of fighting, they join you From then on, you can choose which card to use and from that, which skill/attack Upon defeating a card, you place it in your soul's pile Upon losing to a card, place it as a wound; 5 wounds = defeat Defeat Kishin Asura to win
