Boss Monster Academy

Welcome to Boss Monster Academy, the most prestigious and perilous school in all the realms. Here, aspiring overlords, liches, dragons, and tricksters hone their dark talents, study villainous theory, and occasionally set the cafeteria on fire. Whether you dream of commanding undead armies or crafting perfect chaos, the Academy offers one guarantee: you’ll never be the same creature when you graduate. How to Play As a solo journaling experience, Boss Monster Academy requires nothing but the book and the journaling method of your choice. You begin as a freshman monster attending Boss Monster Academy where you will choose classes that determine a series of related prompts you may complete. Your prompts represent your classwork as you rise the ranks of your school from freshman to senior year. Your classes may require you to write short essays, personal reflections, imaginative dialogues, and even sketch a picture or two. The Academy recognized 7 distinct Boss Monster Archetypes and 10 Student Archetypes. Your chosen boss monster archetype will determine your curriculum and your student archetype will determine your electives. Each year, you will choose three classes from your boss monster archetype and one from your student archetype. From each class, your teachers or professors will expect you to complete 3 journaling assignments as well as a final exam. Between classes, you may also participate in school wide events such as school picture day, spirit week, and monster prom. Boss Monster Academy has over 150 classes and over 900 prompts to take you from freshman through senior year of boss monster school. Expand what you think you know about evil, sorcery, and yourself as you create and journal your way through school, hoping that dreaded senioritis doesn't rear its ugly head. Loving my TTRPGs so far?
