Using a tarot deck and a set of dominoes, you will attempt to complete The Great Work—linking matter, stabilizing reactions, and surviving the unpredictable mutations of an unsafe laboratory. This is not a game about speed. It is a game about structure, pressure, and restraint. 🔮 WHAT IT IS Alchemy: The Great Link is a solo-first tabletop game (with multiplayer support) where: Tarot suits determine elemental direction Dominoes act as material conduits Major Arcana manifest as earned spells The lab itself mutates and fights back Each turn, you build a growing alchemical structure around the Prima Materia, carefully managing value constraints, spatial direction, and risk. Push too hard, and the work collapses. Move too slowly, and the lab mutates beyond control. 🧪 SOLO PLAY: THE GREAT WORK Solo mode features a built-in adversary system called The Mutating Materia: Each turn exposes your work to instability Mutations rotate reality, corrupt voids, or destroy entire branches Rare Catastrophic Transmutations can trigger total collapse Victory is possible—but never guaranteed.
