What it is about

Enter the World of 1950s Summer Holiday Adventures. The Caldercove Mysteries is set in the 1950s. You find yourself on holiday in the small English coastal town of Caldercove with a sandy beach, caves, and old ruins. Something is going on. The villagers are evasive, strange things are happening at odd hours, and someone knows more than they are saying. You are determined to find out what… and why. There is no single correct answer. Your story will emerge from how the clues, characters, locations and obstacles combine. Don't worry if you don't 'solve' the scenario - replay, retry, move on - as long as you have fun! This version uses a variant on the core Hints and Hijinx game in that it removes the Hearts and Spades from the deck and separates them into two piles. Use the Hearts deck when dealing with Characters and the Spades deck when dealing with Locations. The other two suits are shuffled together to form the Scenario Clue deck. The Character and Location clues tables are the same for each Scenario and have been separated out for ease of reference. The Scenario booklets contain the remaining 26 clues along with Character and Location names. I have done this to make them persistent from Scenario to Scenario. This way you can build a string of 'adventures' with Characters developing over time. ---- Images: All Front Covers and Core Back C over - Chat-GPT 5.2 Fonts: Arial, Aptos, Simple Dice, and Nygus Software: Affinity Studio 3 Hardware: MacBook Air 2025 ----
