What it is about

Narratus is a solo narrative RPG built around moves, missions, challenges, oracles, and consequences that matter. It is influenced by the logic of Powered by the Apocalypse, Dominus, Ironsworn, and the Brazilian tradition of solo RPGs. The core procedure is simple: understand what is happening, identify the appropriate move, roll when the situation is uncertain or risky, and apply the consequences to the fiction and the mechanics at the same time. In Narratus, your character is defined by Attributes, Highlights, Bonds, Resources, Conditions, Scars, and Assets. The game is not built around long preparation or a fixed setting. Instead, it gives you a compact engine for creating dangerous journeys, tense confrontations, difficult choices, and stories that keep changing as you play. The system uses four Attributes: * Pulse: vigor, impact, resistance, and manual action. * Edge: precision, caution, stealth, fine control, and timing. * Wits: perception, analysis, knowledge, reasoning, and strategy. * Voice: presence, influence, bond, and persuasion. When the fiction becomes important, uncertain, and risky, you make a Test: roll 1d6, add the most appropriate Attribute, and compare the result separately against 2d10 Challenge Dice. The result can be a failure, partial success, or complete success. Missions give structure to the story. Challenges represent obstacles too resistant for a single roll, but smaller than a full Mission. Moves connect fiction and mechanics, while Fate Moves, Oracles, and Tables help you answer questions, generate complications, measure uncertainty, and keep the story moving without a GM. This product includes: * Narratus: Rules — English PDF * Narratus: References — English PDF Narratus is ideal for players who enjoy solo RPGs, GM-less play, fiction-first mechanics, procedural storytelling, emergent missions, and compact systems that leave room for imagination. No GM required. No fixed setting required. No long preparation required. You need a character, a situation, a few dice, and the willingness to let the fiction push back.
