What it is about

100 Magical Powders is a collection of strange, useful, and unpredictable magical substances designed for immediate use at the table. Each powder is a consumable magic item with a clear effect, strong flavor, and room for creative play. A pinch of dust can: Seal a door with invisible force Let you walk on air Bind a creature with its own shadow Pull a fading soul back into a body Create illusions, silence, light, darkness, or spectral chains Twist perception, memory, time, or distance Each entry includes: A physical description of the powder and its container Clear action-based mechanics Defined ranges, durations, and DCs where needed based on 5e rules Because powders are expendable, players use them. They experiment. They take risks. They create memorable moments that permanent magic items rarely inspire. For Game Masters, these powders are perfect for: Treasure hoards that feel different from standard loot Alchemist shops and traveling potion sellers Black market contraband Wizard laboratories Roll randomly for chaotic discoveries or choose the exact powder that fits the moment. However they enter your campaign, these dusts turn ordinary scenes into unexpected stories. So, what are you waiting for? Take any item on the list, apply a little imagination, and let the adventure unfold. May all your adventures be spectacular! ----------- Our Most Popular Game Resources ---------- Be sure to check out some of our other popular game master resources below.
