The Stars Malign: Solo Derelict Exploration

THE STARS MALIGN is a compact, system neutral solo tool built into a tri-fold pamphlet (plus an additional runic generator sheet): tense derelict exploration and fast, brutal encounters without a GM. Just plug in your favorite system (Death in Space would work well, among others!) At its core is the d50 Unraveler Engine, a four-column generator (verb, modifier, noun, verb) that seeds rooms, objectives, complications, and questions in seconds, including surreal outcomes that go beyond “big monster,” such as warped time or rearranged memories. You also get mission objectives, emergency alerts, hallucinations, corrupted logs, alien messages, and corporate directives that can shift the situation mid-run. A lightweight room and zone procedure drives deeper exploration with escalating risk, plus quick results for discoveries, hazards, NPCs, enemies, and scrap.
