What it is about

Derelict Ship Dungeon Generator is a system-neutral toolkit for mapping and running derelict starship crawls using nothing but graph paper, a pencil, and D100 rolls. Build tense, forward-moving “ship dungeons” room by room—then stock them with hazards, salvage, and strange discoveries using compact, print-friendly zone tables. This book is designed for fast table use: every zone is a single-page reference with no table spillover and no “flip to continue” flow. It’s equally useful for solo play, GM prep, or improvising a derelict during play. What’s inside Core Mapping Page: a complete D100 engine for Room footprint Exits / connections Connection form (corridors, junctions, nodes) Room state (dark, damaged, venting, contaminated, etc.) Barriers & vertical movement (ladders, lifts, crawl ducts, collapses) 8 Zone Pages (each on one page) with D100 tables for: Area • Feature • Peril • Opportunity Zones included: Access, Engineering, Operations, Cargo, Living, Medical, Research, Special/Core Quick Reference Page: mapping sequence + symbol key for graph paper Mission Hooks: D100 objectives + D100 complications to give every crawl a purpose Worked Example: a short 6–8 room crawl with a map sketch and roll results How it works (at the table) Roll a room footprint and draw it on graph paper Roll exits and connections, then extend forward Roll the room’s state and barriers to create tactical choices Use the current zone page to add a Feature, Peril, or Opportunity Keep pushing deeper until you find the objective—or the ship finds you Perfect for Solo exploration and journaling play One-shot derelict missions Drop-in locations for any sci-fi campaign Procedural map generation when you don’t want to prep a full deckplan Format PDF (print-friendly reference) System-neutral.
