What it is about

"Every decision matters—move too quickly and you will miss unforgettable moments; stay too long and daylight will fade before you can return." Lore You are a wildlife documentary filmmaker spending 7 days exploring a national park. Your goal is to photograph as many species as possible while capturing their rarest natural behaviors. Balancing time, battery life, food, and noise is essential to creating the greatest wildlife documentary. Game Details Number of Players: 1 (Solo) Genre: Print & Play / Nature Photography Strategy Game Play Time: Approx. 30–45 minutes per expedition Main Mechanics: Dice Rolling, Hand/Resource Management, Push-Your-Luck, Action Points Core Mechanics Weather & Daily Structure: Each day begins with a weather roll that modifies the day's conditions (affecting search rolls, filming, or noise). Players manage food consumption in the morning and navigate an expedition phase until sunset. Actions (Search, Observe, Wait, Film, Move, Rest): Players spend time to explore different habitats (Forest, River, Mountain, Wetland, Grassland, Coast), encounter wildlife, observe behaviors to increase Victory Points, and attempt to successfully film animals based on their alert values. Noise Track: Creating too much disturbance increases noise levels, which progressively penalize search rolls, make filming harder, or prematurely end the expedition. Camera Shop & Upgrades: Earn money from successful photography to purchase equipment upgrades like DSLR cameras, telephoto lenses, silent shutters, and night vision capabilities. Requirements 1 Game Sheet 2 Six-sided Dice (2d6) Pencil
