A Book of Vanished Suppers

You inherit an old cookbook. The recipes inside once belonged to someone else — a grandmother, a lover, a stranger who cooked once and was never seen again. Some of the recipes are complete. Some are only a name. Most are fragments.  You will not cook them. You will sit with them, one by one, and decide which to preserve in your Book, and which to let fade. A BOOK OF VANISHED SUPPERS is a solo journaling roleplaying game about kitchens, grief, and the small archive we keep for the people we could not keep. It plays over an hour in a single sitting, or one recipe per evening spread across a fortnight.
