What it is about

I undertook this project as a design challenge for myself. My goal is to create a series of pamphlet solo RPGs that all follow a similar format. I was partially inspired by the Explorer Template made by Explorers Design . I thought the idea of people using the same foundation but the games being wildly different would give an interesting challenge. This has evolved a little as I have made them, but overall I tried to stick to: A single sheet 3 panel design D6 Mechanics for resolution and randomness Similar fonts, headings, and sizes. A limited 2 color palette with tints. These will take place once a month until the 2027 One page Jam. So there should be 13 games in total, but I have a lot of ideas so there may be more. All these games will be collected under this single purchase. I may increase the price as the collection grows. We will see. This exercise started with the 2026 one page jam. Originally I was going to do these only as flat one sided, but I was losing a lot of space to the text and I wanted to be able to do more with art and layout, so I switched to a pamphlet. After redoing the layout for a few games I kind of fell in love with the challenge and design of a pamphlet. I will need to redesign my entry for the 2026 one page jam to move it to a pamphlet style. So that will be added when I complete it. As I have been creating these I have been keeping notes. I plan to release these as kind of a creator commentary. Where I took inspiration from, design decisions etc. The Games #02 Wyrm and Woe This is a writing game about traversing a landscape in hopes of killing a Wyrm. you will start the game by writing a few true sentences about yourself. The landscape may corrupt you changing your truth though. #03 Dragon Scribe This is a journaling game about interviewing different dragons and then using their shared memories to create a history. This one is a little more lighthearted and I think that's a good change of pace.
