What it is about
Pre-orders are open: UK: https://www.hausofvalley.com/product/brute-fort Everywhere else: https://www.hiveinteractive.net/projects/brute-fort-micro-solo-dungeon-card-game-508 Your party of heroes stands at the base of the dark fort. Inside waits unimaginable horrors and irresistible opportunity. Brute Fort is a 1 player, 18 card dungeon delver and accompanying synth soundtrack . Brute Fort takes the familiar format of card duelling games, like Magic The Gathering and Marvel Snap , and turns it into a lightweight solo experience. Instead of battling against an opponent, this game sees the player battling the eponymous fort itself, racing to reach the top and come out on top. Rulebook The rulebook is available to download further down the page – see the (confusingly titled) 'Download demo' section. Free version A free artwork-free download of the WIP cards is available here so you can get an idea of the game (see 'Download demo' below). The soundtrack by Gus BC , is also available to purchase . Here is a preview: Printing The print and play files are designed to fit sheets of A4. Page 1 is the front of the first 8 cards, page 2 is the back of those cards, and so on, alternating. A key for the cards is also included so you can make sure the correct fronts and backs match up. Make your own cards Fancy making your own cards? In the "Download demo" section below there's a ZIP file with an InDesign template and a blank template PDF. The InDesign template has a tonne of different layers for toggling on and off elements. You are welcome to publish your own Brute Fort cards (with or without this template). The following text should be included somewhere visible on the itch.io/product page: [Product name] is an independent production by [Author or Publisher] adapted from Brute Fort and is not affiliated with Alfred Valley. Brute Fort is copyright Alfred Valley. Ratings & Comments If you have enjoyed playing this game, please consider leaving a rating and a post/comment in the forum. Brute Fort has a BoardGameGeek page . Ratings and comments there really help too!
