You are the one they send into the tunnels. A sinuous life spent toiling through the dark has left you both slick and calloused. But you have met your match with this one. How much time has passed? You have spent so long crawling in this infernal squeeze that the details are smudged with grime. Your mind is unbuoyed, your reality floundering. Dread Sapper is a solo bookmark-sized game that turns a crossword into a bleak delve where you race to reach the exit before you lose all sense of yourself. Requires a pencil, text (book or newspaper) and a UK-style crossword. Dread Sapper was made for the TTRPG Bookmark Jam 2025 .
