What it is about
Dungeons are not evil. They are misunderstood ecosystems. A Practical Guide to Responsible Dungeonkeeping is a cozy solo tabletop RPG where you play a fantasy park ranger assigned to survey and care for an active dungeon site. You are not here to fight monsters. You are here to: document unusual flora and fauna assist lost or mildly inconvenient sentient beings stabilize magical infrastructure politely negotiate with objects that have opinions and leave the dungeon healthier than you found it Over the course of ten rooms, you’ll generate chambers using playing cards, encounter strange dungeon residents through a detailed d66 table, and record everything in your official Dungeon Field Log. Some creatures will need help. Some will offer boons. Some will be perfectly fine without you. Some will be kind of jerks. That’s conservation work, baby. 🧁 Created for Courtney’s 30th Birthday TTRPG Jam 🎉
