What it is about
"The One-Page Solo PC Building Game" Lore In the high-stakes world of custom rigs, you are the architect of your own digital destiny. Your mission is to navigate a volatile market—dodging scalper bots and digging through used parts—to assemble a machine from the ground up. From the CPU to the PSU, every choice determines whether your creation will become a "Benchmarking Beast" or a smoke-filled "Paperweight". Will you play it safe with gold-rated components, or risk a "Final Boot" on a cardboard-encased gamble? Game Details Number of Players: Solo Genre: Strategy / Resource Management / Tabletop Simulation Play Time: Quick (One-page session) Main Mechanics: Dice-driven market events, resource (Budget) management, and stability/performance balancing. Core Mechanics The Gameplay Loop: Progress through five build stages (CPU, GPU, RAM, Case, and PSU). For each part, you must roll for a Market Event that alters costs or stats before determining which specific components are available in stock. Stability Calculation: Your build's total Stability (S) determines your modifier for the end-game. High stability grants a bonus, while "Critical" stability (<5) imposes a heavy penalty on your final roll. The Final Boot: A high-stakes 2d6 roll to determine if your PC successfully starts or ends in a "Fire/Crash". Final Rank: Based on your total Performance (P), your successful build is ranked from "Office PC" to "God Tier". Requirements Dice: 1d6 (for Market and Stock) and 2d6 (for the Final Boot) Starting Stats: 1,800 Budget and 10 Stability The Build Tracker: A pen and paper (or the provided table) to track Cost, Performance, and Stability.
