What it is about
"The world stopped screaming decades ago. Now, the only sound left is the rhythm of the rails and the sharpening of cold iron." Lore The Breach didn't just bring monsters; it brought an end to the horizon. Fifty years ago, the sky tore open, and the Demons spilled forth—titans of soot and malice that consume anything that stands still. Humanity’s last survivors are trapped aboard the Eternal Nomad , a massive, pressurized fortress on wheels that must never stop. As a member of the Vanguard , you live on the rooftops and undercarriages, fueled by pressurized gas and armed with blades of cold iron. Your mission is simple: Keep the wheels turning. If the engine dies, humanity dies with it. Game Details Number of Players: 1 (Solo Survival) Genre: Action / Tower Defense / Resource Management / Print-and-Play Play Time: 15–30 minutes per "Endurance Test" Main Mechanics: Resource Management, Grid-based Movement (Linear), Dice-based Combat. Core Mechanics Linear Defense: Protect a 5-car train sequence. Demons spawn at the Caboose and advance toward your Engine every turn. Dual-Resource Management: Balance your Gas (used for high-speed mobility and area-of-effect attacks) against your Blades (your primary, finite source of damage). ODM-Inspired Mobility: Move between adjacent cars for free, or spend Gas to "Long Jump" across the entire train to intercept breaches. Endurance Scaling: Every 5 rounds, the train hits a Pit Stop, forcing you to choose between refueling, repairing structural damage, or scavenging for scraps as the demon waves grow in intensity. Requirements The Game Sheet (Provided in the files). One Six-Sided Die (1d6). A Pencil & Eraser (You’ll be tracking a lot of tally marks). A Sky-Striker Token (To track your Vanguard position). Steady Nerves: Once the structure hits zero, the line ends.
