What it is about

"Black Hole Blues" is a solo tabletop RPG that offers a unique blend of strategy and storytelling, set against the backdrop of a spaceship perilously close to a black hole. Players wake up alone on the ship, faced with the daunting task of repairing and navigating the vessel away from the impending gravitational pull. The game is structured around completing various tasks, each with their own time costs and potential rewards in Action Points (AP), which are essential for progressing through the game's three phases. What sets this game apart is the element of unpredictability introduced by the black hole effects, determined by dice rolls, which can either aid or hinder the player's efforts, affecting both time and AP. These effects range from time dilation and sensory anomalies to echoes of past events, adding a layer of complexity and surprise to each turn.
