As you approach, Lord Aelric Stonefield invites you to take a seat. Once you are settled, he explains: “There is increasing evidence that the Darkhammer Pact are working with drow mercenaries who call themselves the Nightveil Assassins. The Nightveil drow are expert assassins and kidnappers, skilled in dark magic and poisons. They are masters of deception and deadly precision. If they are involved, it means the Darkhammer Pact’s reach is deeper and darker than we feared.” Lord Stonefield looks grim: "Reports of strange disappearances around Ironholm are no coincidence. Citizens—perhaps even key figures—are vanishing, likely taken for some sinister purpose. These kidnappings may only be the beginning. The roots of this evil run deep—into the very bones of the earth. If you wish to help the Ironholm Alliance to root out the drow conspiracy, you will need to venture beneath Ironholm itself, into the darkness that festers below and enter the drow fortress, Tenebris Hold."
