What it is about
"Magic is just lead with a grudge. Pack your silver, pray to the glass-sands, and don't let your shadow catch you." LORE The Iron Wastes are a graveyard of dead gods and spent shells. You were once a keeper of the peace, but now you are a Hexslinger —an exile wielding a notched wand and a silver-plated six-shooter. The rot is spreading from the Necromancer’s Mine , turning the frontier into a playground for spectral posses and bounty-hunting ghouls. You have one horse, three spells, and 25 miles of cursed sand between you and the man who needs to die. Whether you survive as a savior or take his throne as the new Overlord depends entirely on the roll of the bones. GAME DETAILS Number of Players: 1 (Solo) Genre: Fantasy-Western / Roguelike Dice-Crawl Play Time: 15–30 minutes per "Run" Main Mechanics: Hex-grid exploration, Resource management (Grit/Spells), Push-your-luck combat. CORE MECHANICS The Hex-Crawl: Navigate a hex grid where every movement triggers a Wilderness encounter. Signature Spells: Choose your playstyle with spells like Lead-Curse (rerolls) or Ghost-Step (escapes). Grit & Infamy: Manage your health (Grit) while balancing your reputation (Infamy). Be too helpful, and you stay weak; be too ruthless, and the world sends "Cursed" hunters to end your streak. The Hex-Stash: Scavenge abandoned wagons for powerful loot like Brimstone Bullets and Coyote’s Teeth . Three-Phase Finale: A cinematic boss battle involving a breach, a duel, and a final ritual roll. REQUIREMENTS The Game Sheet: (Provided in the download) Dice: One standard six-sided die (1d6). Writing Utensil: A pencil (and an eraser for that dwindling Grit). Token: A coin or small object to represent your Hexslinger on the map.
