The Defiant North 4B - The Unquiet Grave (Solo 5e or Shadowdark Adventure)

A Solo Adventure in the Defiant North --- The farmers near town speak of shadows walking between burial mounds at dusk. They speak in whispers, and they do not sleep well. Captain Isabella Castellon needs someone to investigate. The local folk won't go near the old barrows anymore. Not since the digging started. Not since the dead began to stir. The path leads into the burial grounds where weathered standing stones mark the boundary between the living and whatever lies beyond. You'll find more than disturbed earth and empty crypts. You'll find evidence of a love so fierce it refuses to let death be the end. Two souls seek each other across the divide. A guardian rises to stop them. And you must decide: is this a crime demanding justice, or a tragedy begging for mercy? The dead are walking. Will you bring them peace, or join them? --- A 5th edition or Shadowdark solo adventure for a player with a level 4 character.
